There are several ways you can support the unique work being done at Nansindlela:

  1. If you are a teacher and have a passion for teaching rural children as well as to develop the skills of previously disadvantaged teachers then please read our recruitment brochure. (Click Here)

  1. Sponsor a teacher. For more details on this program please Click Here.

  1. Sponsor a bursary for a child’s (or several) school fees for a year. This would amount to R1,200 per year which converts to £100 or $150.

Currently we have approximately 90 children on bursaries out of a total enrolment of 348. The school governing body, which is predominantly made up of local parents, believes that this number of bursaries is currently sufficient and would prefer to see donor funds spent for the benefit of all the children since bursaries fund individual parents rather than the school. However, we are looking to grow the school and this will require financial support for any potential learners whose parents cannot afford to pay the fees.

We would be more than happy to link you up with a specific child whose progress you would be able to follow throughout their school career and beyond. In this way you are monitoring a long term investment with very real payoffs for the local community and Africa as a whole.

If this is what you would like to do then please email us at bursaries@nansindlela.org . If you are resident in the UK then please visit our UK Charity page to find out how your donation can go that much further. (Click Here)

  1. If you can’t quite afford to sponsor a whole child but would still like to contribute towards the school then please email us at general.support@nansindlela.org. If you are resident in the UK then please visit our UK Charity page to find out how your donation can go that much further. (Click Here)

  1. Contribute yourself or persuade your company or organisation to sponsor one of our many projects required to achieve our vision. Please click here for details on these projects.

  1. Email the link to this website to as many people as possible so that we can raise awareness of the school. Every little bit of effort contributes towards the future of our school and the welfare of this underdeveloped community so if this is all you can manage to do then - Thank you. You could be directing us towards a significant future benefactor.
